Tyler is doing really well as far as eating and sleeping go. Unfortunately, his most alert time is typically between 1 a.m. - 3 a.m. Just like everybody told us, we are learning what tired really means. But you know what? It's really not that bad. If I have to wake up in the middle of the night for anything, it would be for him. Hopefully we'll get him on a schedule eventually, but for now we're living on Tyler time...and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We went to the doctor last Tuesday (7/29) for a weight check. Mike took our picture before we left (and before Tyler decided to go go the bathroom all over my shirt when we had to strip him down to weigh him at the office). So far, he's decided to go to the bathroom both times we've put him on the scale.
Tyler had to be in his "tanning bed" for the first couple of days that we were home from the hospital because of his jaundice. We were supposed to keep him under the lights for at least 16 - 18 hours of the day (basically anytime he wasn't eating or getting his diaper changed). Here's one of the few precious moments that Mike was able to hold him during this time.
