By the way - the Kiddopotamus Swaddle Blankets (that Tyler is modeling in the picture below) are the best thing ever. We got a couple as a present from our friends Christie and James who used them for their baby (after James tried using a chip clip to get a regular blanket to stay put). You just put your baby in the pouch and Velcro the sides closed. It was WAY easier than getting the old-school blanket to stay put, especially when you're totally sleep-deprived.

Bye-Bye Baby Burrito
My baby is all grown up. Sniff sniff. He's finally ready to go to sleep without being locked down in his baby burrito swaddle blanket every night. We've tried to put him to sleep without it before, but he always startled himself awake. Last night, we made another attempt and he did just perfect. No more baby jail for this big guy! What's next - his first date? Where did the time go?

He's getting too big, too fast. I'm coming to town in a few weeks and you better know that I will be coming by to get my love on.
